Leading a team of Development Engineers and Technicians in the design and execution of complex battery systems, charging solutions, and electrical connectivity for the hybrid and electric vehicle market.

Responsible for manufacturing operations and new project execution for all HEMS products manufactured in Japan, Korea, and China.

Responsible for leading a cross functional team consisting of engineers within various disciplines (assembly, die, molding, product development, packaging, and quality), material planners, and suppliers in the launch of complex electrical connection systems. Responsible for the capital and expense budget, achieving manufacturing cost targets, and project execution through a LEAN-PD launch process. Promoted from Project Manager I, II, Sr., and Manager I Project Management during this time period.

Involved in the design and implementation of highly complex electrical connection systems for the automotive and commercial vehicle market. Major responsibilities included: frequent communication with customers from the concept design phase through release into production, creation of 3D models, structural analysis and interpretation, drawing creation, dimensional analysis, prototype creation, validation test planning, and communication with production personnel in the areas of injection molding, stamping, plating, and assembly. Promoted from Level I to Level III engineering within 4 years.

Worked in an intensive training program in the manufacture of electrical connector components. Training in the following manufacturing technologies: high speed progressive stamping, plastic injection molding, plating, and automatic assembly.
