About Jeremy Rhee

I’m Jeremy Rhee, a passionate Mechanical Engineer with 1+ years of hands-on experience in product design, structural analysis, and leading projects through the full development cycle. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by how things work and how they can be made better. This curiosity has fueled my desire to not just create functional products but to build solutions that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality to improve everyday life.My journey started at UC Berkeley, where I gained a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and developed a love for problem-solving through real-world projects. One of my proudest achievements is my ongoing project, LogKey, where I’ve designed a wood-integrated mechanical keyboard that fills a unique gap in the market. This project allowed me to combine my love for mechanical keyboards and design, resulting in multiple iterations using Fusion 360, applying FEA analysis, and even self-studying PCB design to develop a custom prototype. Interacting with a community of over 1.3 million users for feedback has been an incredibly rewarding process, allowing me to continuously improve the product based on real-world insights. At Solar4America, I took on the role of Product Engineer, where I led efforts to enhance the mechanical load capacity of solar modules by 179%, significantly reducing defect rates and improving the durability of the products through advanced materials selection. I thrive in fast-paced environments that require both technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration, and I am proud to have contributed to a 5% cost reduction while optimizing delivery processes using MATLAB. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of blending design with efficiency and scalability, ensuring that products not only meet but exceed expectations. When I’m not working on engineering projects, I enjoy diving deeper into mechanical keyboard design—a hobby that has evolved into a startup idea—and continuously exploring ways to integrate new materials and technologies into everyday products. I believe that engineering is a lifelong learning journey, and I’m excited to continue growing and contributing to meaningful projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible. If you’re looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also highly creative and passionate about making a difference through engineering, I’d love to connect!
