My journey began in the U.S. Navy as a Sonar Operations Manager where I learned the value of grit and teamwork while leading critical operations. This foundation set the stage for a career where I’ve had the privilege to work with some incredible companies like Coca-Cola and Citrix. Each role has been an opportunity to solve complex problems while delivering high-impact solutions.In my recent position at Updater, I directed a talented team of seven engineers to build a scalable infrastructure for the U.S. military’s $17.9 billion Global Household Goods contract. We focused on creating a robust cloud-native environment that met stringent compliance standards while ensuring reliability at every level of deployment. It was rewarding to see our efforts contribute directly to such an important mission.As the founding engineer at Asserts.ai, an a16z-funded startup, I had the chance to shape our infrastructure from scratch—transforming ideas into reality by implementing innovative CI/CD processes that significantly improved developer experience.
