I am a data scientist with a PhD in physics, and a licensed patent attorney.MY STARTUP BACKGROUNDI have been the founder of several startups in image processing, cleantech, and machine learning. I have worked in several positions as data science lead and senior data scientist in computer vision, NLP, geocoding, and root-cause-analysis using python and C. I have also worked in developing alternative energy systems including PV, wind, HVAC, and ESCO.EDUCATION My PhD from the Technion was in solid state physics, specifically in cathode processes in solid oxide fuel cells. This involved data collection and analysis, SEM, TEM, XRD, ceramic materials preparation, electrical testing, impedance spectra, isotopic tests, microlithography, high vacuum systems, and system design and integration. My undergraduate degree, also in physics is from Harvard.PATENTS I am the founder of Rutman IP, a boutique Israeli patent office, and a licensed patent attorney. I have experienced the startup world from a number of angles - as a founder, programmer, patent attorney, and investment consultant, and my patent clients benefit significantly from this experience.I know that patent application can be a complicated and time-consuming process. As an inventor and founder myself, I’ve taken these points of view into account and built a concise, efficient methodology for writing patents with a minimum of pain. I have seen the startup world from multiple perspectives – as an inventor CTO, CSO, VC advisor and investor. As a patent attorney I can assess the invention from all of these angles.
