The goal here is to share my thoughts in the hopes they will provide creative industry members perspective for their own business and career journey.2. Walkthroughs of how I use Comparascope, a web platform I co-founded, to overcome some of the frustrating challenges around dealing with clients as a small video business. The goal here is to inform video makers on what Comparascope can do for them - so that they try it, like it, use it frequently and ultimately decide to unlock Pro for $285 - so I can in turn fund development of more useful products and features helping more small creative outfits deal directly with clients instead of getting squeezed by clunky, bloated, sales-focused agency middlemen. In 2014, we began with a mission to support and mentor 100s of young creatives in Montreal, a network through which Rubicon produced over 500 unique creative video projects across a range of genres for budgets of $250-$250k.
