Actively manages, analyzes, and leverages Asbury spend in all areas to create cost benefit for the system. Performs vendor management through assessment of vendor performance, risk profiles, and mitigation strategies, vendor mix, review and assesses vendor's internal controls and external audits. Negotiates, updates and reviews contracts for opportunities and risks. Tracks and enforces external and internal compliance with terms, ensuring expiring contracts are pro-actively addressed. Builds strong relationships with vendors and internal customers; collaborates with stakeholders to solve problems and implement corrective actions. Provides counsel and review for all capital management request to ensure appropriateness and required documentation, tracks and ensures usage does not exceed approved amounts. Develops and maintains standards and procedures for purchasing. Manages the organizations purchase order system.

This specific position provides management oversight to support consistent, customer-driven, results oriented and high performance patient support services for the hospital. The position will develop and mentor a high performance responsive management team to ensure that the necessary support services are available to position the hospital’s patient care team in a highly competitive market. The position is responsible for the following key functions: Central Sterile Processing, Environmental Services, Food and Nutritional Services, Laundry Services, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance, Protective Services, Safety, Emergency Management, Environment of Care, Parking Management, Grounds Keeping, and Clinical Engineering. The position will participate and lead sourcing activities and cost management in collaboration with Holy Cross Health’s leadership along with assisting the hospital leadership team in other operational issues as needed.

This position provides management oversight to support consistent, customer-driven, results-oriented and Supply Chain services for Holy Cross Hospital. This position supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital by ensuring the efficient acquisition and effective distribution of equipment, supplies, and purchases services in support of hospital operations. This position will develop and mentor a high performance responsive management team to ensure that the necessary support services are available to position each Holy Cross Hospital patient care team. The Senior Director is responsible for the overall organization and direction of the following key functions of the Supply Chain Management Department (Mailroom, Receiving, Storeroom and Distribution departments), Laundry Department and Central Sterile Processing Department. This position directs the organizational sourcing and cost management issues for all supply acquisitions, storage, and distribution within the hospital and its affiliated locations including supplies, equipment, and purchased services for the operational need of the system. The position assist the executive team in other strategic and operational issues as needed. The position effectively collaborates with all managers to insure appropriate and effective services in each department throughout the hospital. The position will represent Holy Cross Hospital and Trinity Health in all professional contracts.

Acts in co-operation with Holy Cross Hospital managers to insure appropriate and effective services in each department throughout the hospital. In conjunction with the VP Patient Support Services manages the cost management program for the hospital. Acts as liaison between Senior Management and staff. Represents Holy Cross Hospital and Trinity Health in all professional contacts.

This position manages and oversees various supply chain activities and initiatives supporting the Mission/Vision of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital. Supports and assists in facilitating the hospital’s value analysis program and objectives with a focus on the cost-effective utilization of products, management of data, coordination of product/purchased services/and capital evaluation processes, coordinates and assists in the education process regarding value analysis. This position participated as a member/chair/co-chair of any related committees. Responsible for GPO established contract compliance metrics that are defined by Trinity Health, Holy Cross Hospital and the Group Purchasing Organization. Performs research, data analysis, benchmarking and develops appropriate tools to measure the overall effectiveness of supply chain initiatives at Holy Cross Hospital.
