Post the administration I have been working with the Group CFO and the Lender shareholders to restructure and refinance (£500m) the business for the planned divestment of the Group's major Facilities Management and Construction divisions. This major disposal program (£450m) resulted in the realisation of significant value to the Lender group (private equity, hedge funds & banks). The GFC role also continued to incorporate the typical Group Finance functions including preparation of audited consolidated IFRS based financial statements, development of standardised improved internal management reporting packs, 3 year strategic planning, 13 week cash flow forecasting, centralisation of back office functions to minimise duplication of group wide costs, new financial system implementations etc.
