To undertake this new role on a key high value production line. Core task was to increase the production line efficiency (uptime and target-lower waste), with a longer term goal of achieving higher line operation production speeds.Implement these tasks and measure the results using Unilever best practices, TPM management, majoring on focused improvements. Collaborate with the local and Global Unilever teams, OEM's and local contractors Achievements, over 10% increase in line OE, measured reduction in recorded waste, increased product quality and reduced quality downtime and waste issues, from implementing focused improvements.Consider that these developments and learning's were in house strengthening these local teams. This strategy was subsequently used as a example to enable role out across further lines in the factory. Development of operational and technical staff knowledge base, contribution, value and self esteem. Implement the use of production line performance board and develop factory displayed performance information.

Uk & European Factories

UK Project Leader for European jointly implemented Magnum logo embossing projectImplement and lead small and mid sized projects on FMCG production lines in Unilever Gloucester factory. Implement these on time and in budget at target line start up parameters (OE & Waste)Undertake production line operational and maintenance duties of high capacity & automated solutions. Using tools (TPM- focused improvement- autonomous maintenance-early equipment management-planned maintenance- effective maintenance) maintain and improve line performances targeting OEE, line yields, & MTBF.Implementing these initiatives in small collaborative teams made up of operators, technical and product development staff.
