    For five years prior to Stratus I have been the COO of the Reno-Fernley Raceway, a 500 acre motorsports complex outside of Reno NV which features a 4 mile road course, 1/4 mile drag strip and 3/8 mile Clay Oval. While managing the complex, I was responsible for the overall venue development and operations, all event planning, coordination, and marketing for the facility. I created 6 major annual events for the raceway, including The Reno Historic Races (www.renohistorics.com) and Hot August Nights Drag Racing. Both these events grew to over 150 racers, 200-300 car corral participants, and over 5000 spectators each day for a 3 day events. I have coordinated over 400 events within the motorsports industry, including but not limited to team owners and corporate sponsors, national car clubs, and motorsports promoters such as HMSA, Hot August Nights, SCCA, and the occasional wedding at the start finish line.
