Along with my previous Assistant Photo Editor duties, I also managed payroll and licensing requests, delivered final copy and content edits for gallery captions, and mentored photographers and fellow editors.

I covered sports, news and arts and entertainment shoots, as well as provide guidance and advice to the Photo section. I was responsible for ideating and editing my photo galleries and covering breaking news events.

I helped manage the Photo section and facilitate the daily art production for news, sports, opinion, and arts and entertainment stories, editing 50 photos weekly. I gave feedback on our staff's work, hired and trained new interns, managed our gear and digital asset archive, and created workshop slides to strengthen and improve skills. I also assisted in curating and editing the photos and captions for our photo galleries and essays, publishing 3-6 galleries per week.

I covered news, arts and entertainment, and sporting events to capture art for the paper's articles and photo galleries. During my time on staff, I also began curating and editing the photos for my galleries to relieve some of the burden that our Photo editors carried.

I performed Zoom and FaceTime shoots due to COVID-19 constraints, since I spent the school year at home in Berkeley. As sports began (in fan-less stadiums) I went to UC Berkeley and Stanford to shoot basketball, gymnastics, tennis, soccer, and golf matches.

I managed the Instagram and TikTok accounts for the club, and also created designs for all of the club's needs. This included new logo ideas as well as graphics to promote activities and events throughout the year. I also shot photos and videos at practices, tournaments and socials for social media and the end-of-the-year video.

I was given 7-15 assignments per week, covering shoots ranging from breaking news to neighborhood profiles to business and restaurant features. I was responsible for editing and captioning 350 photos weekly and provided video and breaking news reporting as well.

I managed a team of 8 photographers for client-facing work, including product shoots and event photography. This included coordinating project timelines with the team and client, delivering consistently-edited final photos and ensuring equitable shooting time for each photographer. I also fostered a supportive community for diverse creatives by leading workshops, hosting team socials and providing photo training for our team members.

San Francisco Bay Area

I photograph food from local restaurants in the Bay Area for food reviews and guides and am given list of 3-6 restaurants with 1-4 dishes to photograph from each. The content is then is posted on https://www.theinfatuation.com/san-francisco (~60k site viewers/week) and @infatuation_sf on Instagram (106k followers, ~20k views/post).
