Profile bio

About Jeremy D. Bucher

I completed a single subject mathematics teaching credential program at CSUSB this December 2022, and plan to earn my preliminary credential in Foundational Mathematics in May 2023. I am currently serving as a certificated substitute teacher with Redlands Unified School District as I complete my credential. Before enrolling in the credential program at CSUSB, I was a manufacturing and quality engineer in the aerospace industry for 3+ years and had a broad scope of responsibilities in my role. My previous career in engineering would be an asset to RUSD, as I am in the unique position of being able to merge a passion for teaching with real-world STEM experience. This means that I would be able to offer real-world applications of STEM concepts in my lessons based on personal experiences, and I would be a resource for students interested in pursuing engineering in college and in their future careers. I hold myself to the highest standards and know that I would be an asset to any district's team. I have built positive, productive relationships with both students and professional colleagues during my student teaching experience, and I look forward to bringing my effective teaching and real-world STEM experience into the classroom.

Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Autodesk Revit, and 35 others.
