About Jeremy D. Goodwin

At St. Louis Public Radio I report and produce news and feature coverage of arts & culture for radio, podcast and web. Immediately prior to this I was an established freelance journalist and writer/editor, most frequently contributing to the Boston Globe and WBUR 90.9 FM and with bylines in The New York Times, NPR, ARTNews, American Theatre, Dance Magazine, Boston Globe Magazine, Relix, New England Public Radio, Berkshire Living & Berkshire Magazine, the Berkshire Eagle and many others. When not working full-time as a journalist, I've been associate director of publicity for Shakespeare & Company (Lenox, Mass.) and director of communications for Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, Mass.I'm also a longtime volunteer and board member for The Mockingbird Foundation (www.mbird.org) and editor/major contributor to all three editions of The Phish Companion: A Guide to the Band and their Music. My specialty areas include the performing arts, government and media but I'm very curious and love to research new areas. I've given multimedia lectures on Isabella Stewart Gardner and King Phillip's War, and performed my one-man multimedia piece "Battle of Egremont" at Norman Rockwell Museum and other venues. I've also written a(n unpublished) novel and am interested in talking to publishing-biz folks. Please get in touch with a hello, story ideas (in St. Louis or elsewhere), or anything else on your mind.www.jeremydgoodwin.com
