Responsible for identifying and developing commercial product opportunities and turning them into sellable products. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a product roadmap, set product development priorities, create product plans that cover viability, implementation, features, key success factors and market positioning.As head of product on the consumer side (2012-2014), I drove substantial improvements in informatics quality and patient experience growing from a user population of 50,000 users to over 500,000. Re-established a disciplined product management process at the company. Drove the agenda for a 30-40 person engineering team. Championed strong UX role in product design and the importance of user learning. Prior to departing the company, I initiated and grew a set of clinical trial services to over a $3M/year run-rate.

Led a distributed team of 16 internal and external engineers to conceive and deliver a ~$5M industry- leading FDA-compliant strategy to protect $120M worth of biological assets. This system traced sample and patient data through approximately 30 laboratory processes while maintaining GLP and full chain of custody. Designed and product managed the solution from conception to implementation. Evangelized solution via road-shows , resulting in adoption by six core laboratories and reducing sample handling costs.
