- Worked with angel backed startup from launch until right before Series A.- Oversaw development team ranging from 2-5 engineers at various times. I was responsible for the web front-end, web back-end, iOS frontend, and iOS backend and general infrastructure. Work Included project management, task assignment, code review, QA, and general tech leading of engineering team.- Worked on all parts of the tech stack which included Coffeescript / Node.js, mongoDB, Java/Android, Heroku and AWS, and iOS / Objective C. - Oversaw most technical aspects of the business as it raised a large seed round (1.5M), gained traction (30% monthly growth; last month ending in 350k monthly recurring revenue and ~20k subscribers).- With only two weeks of notice, prepared the iOS app and backend infrastructure for an Apple App Store front-page feature. For the backend infrastructure, this included: migrating the database to a more scalable provider with minimal (11 minutes) downtime, implemented a caching algorithm that 4xed our average latency across *all* requests, and deployed a monitoring service to watch server performance during the launch. Things went smoothly!

- Traveled to over 20 countries. Highlights included: living in Colombia and learning Spanish, 30 days training Thai kickboxing in Thailand, weightlifting with a professional bodybuilding champion, and becoming scuba certified.

- Requirements gathering, wireframing, interfacing with designer and business owner, and coding of . Geomarketing is a webapp that is both a news site and crowd-sourced database for local marketers. An analogy would be Techcrunch and Crunchbase rolled into one, but for the advertising industry.- Developed and launched iOS and Android game Shape Jam .- Worked on a variety of projects in iOS, Android, Node.Js, Javascript / Coffeescript, PHP, and Ruby on Rails. Projects ran the spectrum from purely front-end / Javascript-intensive to backend-only systems to mobile apps.
