Perpetual Soup is the result of writers Vincent Poymiro and David Elkaïm, and producer Jérémy Sahel teaming up with the goal to create a production company that would put writing and art direction at the heart of entertainment.In the late 19th century, soup kitchens in working class areas would keep one big pot luck cooking at all times, constantly adding new ingredients to feed whoever came to ask. This is where this new production company got its name from. Much like this heartwarming broth that would always surprise you and appease your hunger 24/7, Perpetual Soup is a source of entertainment covering all genres, from family-oriented comedy to horror and sci-fi, as well as all formats, from sitcoms and series to full-length films and new media projects.Vincent Poymiro and David Elkaim have a long history of writing together, and created the drama series Churchmen, whose three seasons are now available on Netflix after three years on the ARTE TV channel from 2011 to 2014. Jeremy Sahel, producer and CEO of innovation and tech-oriented production company Da Prod, specializes in talent hunting and project development. When the three of them worked together in the past, the need to create a company of their own in order to lead projects and keep writers involved throughout the entire production process became obvious. As a result they created Perpetual Soup in 2018, a generous and endless source of stories to write, share, and savor.

Most notably, Da Prod produced François Vautier’s 2017 VR film and worldwide sensation I Saw the Future, which was selected at the Venice International Film Festival and is currently available on Arte 360VR and in 2D on ARTE TV.
