- Assist with external HSE system audits of Pindan operations, and manage certification requirements- Assist Project Management with the coordination of HSE personnel coverage / rostering on site- Liaise with inspectors from statutory authorities as required, and maintain relationships with client management representatives regarding HSE matters on Pindan operational sites.- Develop, review and maintain the Pindan corporate HSE system (HSE policies, systems, manuals, management plans, procedures and forms), and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.- Monitor relevant HSE legislation, and recommend changes to the Pindan corporate HSE system in consultation with the General Manager.- Assist Project HSE Managers and Project Management with the development of project specific HSE management plans, construction risk assessments and other client required project documentation for contracts awarded prior to site mobilisation.- Develop and issue HSE alerts (internal and external) to the Pindan business to communicate HSE learning's and initiatives.- Develop, review and maintain Pindan HSE system requirements at the head office (i.e. risk assessment and compliance registers, emergency response facilities and training, and site specific HSE training) in consultation with the general manager.- Monitor and report on Pindan corporate HSE performance against established objectives and standards- Provide HSE advice and coaching to the executive management team to ensure compliance, continuous improvement and consistent emphasis of Pindan corporate HSE values.- Coordinate and administer workers compensation and injury management requirements for Pindan personnel in consultation with all relevant parties.- Participate in significant incident investigations involving Pindan operations.- Coordinate the recruitment and selection of HSE professionals, trainees and administrative support staff for the business.

• Good Knowledge of the OH&S Act, regulations and associated legislations, and state standards• Conducting safety audits for compliance and providing sound advice on continuous improvement• Creating and maintaining WHS Management Systems – ensuring JSA’s / JHA’s are conducted accordingly• Maintaining accurate reporting and documentation• Preparing and reviewing all accidents and incident reports • Experience in FIFO from a number of locations – Perth / Pilbara / Brisbane / Bowen Basin • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders – maintaining strong client relationships with BHP Billiton• Strong communication and negotiation – confidently liaises with people at all levels on site • Supervising numerous safety representatives Australia-wide on separate projects – travels interstate to review, audit and monitor complete site safety and adherence to site safety systems• Training new safety staff in managing site safety and leading inductions for personnel • Experience leading daily toolbox meetings and personnel inductions• Sustaining a "Zero Harm" work environment
