I am responsible for the design of plumbing and fire protection systems for research laboratories, colleges, convention centers, churches, office buildings, tenant fitouts and high rise condominiums. My responsibilities also include construction administration, site/ equipment survey, coordination between disciplines and producing full sets of drawings and specs. Plumbing design experience includes: Domestic and laboratory supply systems; Hot water supply and return systems; Sanitary and storm systems; Laboratory vacuum and gas systems; Laboratory waste systems and DI/RO systems. Fire Protection design experience includes: Wet, dry, pre-action, deluge; Standpipe systems and High Rise standpipe systems. Plumbing/FP Technology experience includes: Develop Excel spreadsheets for calculations and sizing; Maintain training powerpoint presentations; Maintain electronic plumbing cut sheets; Develop/review software associated with plumbing/fire protection; Maintain electronic catalogs. Professional Organization Affiliations: American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE)I am experienced in BIM integration and development; Revit & Revit MEP software. I have been working with BIM for since 2005 and worked on one of the first complete MEP Revit projects whilst working with a previous employer. He is also involved with running and presenting at the local Steel City Revit User Group.
