Created architecture, APIs, and web/mobile applications. Developed crowd-sourced data collection and management applications, importers for a wide variety of city and geo data, complex busy/free search solutions, and data analysis.Primospot received much positive attention, including a feature article by Nick Bilton of the New York Times (http://nyti.ms/O0HAvg) as well as being featured in Apple Stores worldwide and an appearance in the iPad Keynote by Steve Jobs.Primospot provided detailed parking information for densely populated metropolitan areas. It was a free service using schedules, maps, and garage details to help commuters find public and paid parking. There were several web and mobile applications developed in parallel (iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc).The service was available in New York, Boston and Seattle, with data updates coordinated with city departments and numerous commercial parking partnerships. As a complex broadcast operation, I delivered network architecture, recruiting and interviewing of tech staff, and live streaming and broadcast integration. The show airs six days per week, and is broadcast live to hundreds of stations via Satellite, cable, radio and online. This required reliable, fast streaming of content in many formats, including integrating subtitles, transcripts and automated delivery and archival processes.Democracy Now! is recognized as a leading alternative news organization, and serves millions of unique users, offering a daily 1-hour show which is streamed and archived in many formats. It has been going non-stop since 1996 and has received numerous journalism awards. -
