As an instructor, I spoke to and trained business executives in numerous areas of digital marketing. Rutgers is a global centre of academic excellence.

I founded Clockwork Web in 1995 and within four years it was one of the top ten agencies in the UK with an impressive turnover and an amazing client list. We rode the wave of the dot com boom and worked for many household names such as Dun & Bradstreet, Cable and Wireless, The Rank Group and others.We built the first website for Red Dwarf, the first website for Butlins and a website that won many awards for Pete Townshend. It was a time of utter madness but also hugely enjoyable.

Ashmount Research was a company that developed internet software before the web. This software was called an off-line reader and allowed for the automatic downloading of threaded messages from message boards. Back in the early nineties we were all using narrowband so to stay on line while reading messages was extremely expensive. Hence the need for a very clever software application that pulled all those messages onto your desktop and then organised them for easy reading. Ashmount Research had some impressive clients including The Open University, and Nat West Bank and was way ahead of the curve with regards to technology.It was a tremendous period and a time of pioneers and a feeling that we were on the verge of something very, very big.
