Battalion (BN) Operations Officer for a Training Support BN synchronizing all Warfighting Functions operations involving four Observer-Coach/Trainer (OC/T) Detachments with over 170 Soldiers. Determined training needs of the BN derived from regulations, policies, and directives. Planned, coordinated, resourced, and supervised the execution of BN operations. Developed and maintained BN calendars. Managed the BN’s readiness and operations programs.Key Results:• Led the training for all BN leadership on the US Army 8-step training model leading into Objective-T training management.• Ensured the BN was prepared to deploy, support, and redeploy to WAREX 78-16-01, CSTX 78-16-02, Guardian Response (GR) 17, GR 18, and GR 19 in support of the BN's primary mission as OC/Ts.• Planned, resourced, and supervised multiple joint individual weapon qualification ranges and Soldier Readiness Programs with another BN effectively enabling collectively over 300 Soldiers to qualify on their individual weapon and enhancing medical readiness between both BNs.• Oversaw all Effects and Enablers activities during GR 17 and 18 with over 200 civilian role players, 300 mannequins, and 50 Soldiers with 100% mission success rate during both years.• Publicly recognition from the Chief Exercise Director and Division Deputy Commander for leadership and managing abilities during GR 17 and 18.• Led the efforts in writing and publishing all BN WARNORDs, OPORDs, and FRAGORDs.• Developed, published, and implemented the BN Training SOP, Training Guidance, and TOC SOP.• Developed, provided, and evaluated realistic tactical convoy operations training during the Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise and conducted AARs with over 12 tactical convoys over a course of two days.• Planned, coordinated, resourced, and hosted multiple 84th Training Command OC/T Academies resulting in supporting certifying over 70 additional OC/Ts throughout the 84TC.
