During this time at Solium, my key responsibilities included:- Integrating the Corporate Focus business unit into Solium- Leading Corporate Focus personnel in transitioning to the Solium team- Moving to Calgary from Boston to lead Solium's product team- Overseeing the growth of Solium's Shareworks platform- Interacting with clients to translate their needs into the Shareworks platform

Corporate Focus (formerly Two Step Software, Inc.) was a cloud-based equity administration, accounting and compliance system for privately-held, emerging growth companies. The easily accessible web based software assisted individuals, including financial executives, stock plan professionals, and law firms) in tracking complex capital structures, as well as meeting the FAS 123R (now ASC Topic 718) reporting requirements.Key responsibilities:- Directly led the product management, development, and support teams.- Along with the CEO, shaped the vision of Corporate Focus as the tool to simplify equity reporting and financial reporting for US private companies.- Implemented tools and created processes that enabled Corporate Focus’ distributed teams to work together across the country. A key part of this was replacing Office with Google Docs to improve the teams ability to collaborate together.- Actively worked with the sales and marketing team a) to shape pricing strategy; b) tell the Corporate Focus story; and c) create content for the Corporate Focus website and blog.- Presented at technology events on cloud software; Presented on industry events on equity administration and financial reporting for private companies.Corporate Focus was acquired by Solium at the end of 2012.

Managed all customer facing aspects of our organization. This included leading our support and product groups to ensure Corporate Focus customers received a consistent experience from the product the used to they support they received. Was responsible for spreading the word about Corporate Focus to customers and the marketplace.

Managed all updates to Corporate Focus, including the transition from a client-based software architecture to a web based architecture. During my time as product manager, I managed five major point releases, and several minor point releases. I also transitioned the product team to use agile methodologies and continuously looked for ways to refine processes to optimize efficiencies. During this time, I also assisted our support department in product and consulting issues.

Worked as a quality assurance engineer on Corporate Focus. Created test plans, data mappings for data import, and did some design work. Also, worked in the support department to assist customers with product problems.
