I am a detail-orientated engineer who is also capable of taking a step back and seeing the bigger picture.The majority of my experience is in power system network planning roles. My most recent long-term role was in Western Power’s Grid Transformation function, where I have been a part of teams assessing both distribution, and transmission customer connection applications. Additionally, I also provided technical advice relating to planning, and operational performance. Working in Grid Transformation has allowed me to be involved in many interesting network studies, customer load impact assessments, data requests, and settings investigations. Prior to beginning employment with Western Power, I completed the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA) engineering graduate program ending December 2019. During my three years in the CCIWA graduate program I had the opportunity of working in teams at Horizon Power, Synergy, and Western Power.I would summarise myself as a hardworking individual who is building an interesting, and rewarding career in electrical engineering. To me a challenging career is just as important as a healthy work life balance.
