The facility comprises a vehicle soak area, five emission test cells for both diesel and gasoline testing. Dynamometer (rolling road) on which the vehicle is driven to a set test cycle. The dynamometer is set to simulate real life road conditions for a particular vehicle derivative; Analysis equipment, used to measure harmful pollutants, greenhouse gases & particulates emitted from the vehicle. Control PCs and software (HORIBA and VETS (Vehicle Emission Test Systems)) used to control the analysis equipment and to generate test reports. -
