- Led and reduced unmendable damages across all categories from 38% in Q4’18 down to 7% in Q4’19; sweaters in particular had the greatest decrease from 55% in Q4’18 to 5% in Q4’19.- Spearheaded and outlined a new wash test process for all Private Label fabric developments for the Research & Development team at the distribution center and wash facility. Private Label brands made up 70% of apparel assortment; the remaining 30% was a mix of Branded and third-party.- Analyzed Looker reports for damage rate trends, identifying fiber contents and fabric weaves that didn’t meet quality standards for the rental model.- Conceptualized and presented seasonal fabric direction to Merchandising and Production teams based on trend reports presented by Design team and fabric performance analysis of prior seasons- Partnered with mills and factories in China to effectively source fabrics and oversaw wash testing process for all Private Label textile development- Requested initial costing to review with Production and get approvals- Prepared requests for lab dips, strike offs and wash tests in collaboration with the Design team. Built techpacks in Excel, creating and maintaining BOMs and also providing detailed sketches and callouts for factories. Created and maintained line sheet process; communicated any updates to the team. Created all style numbers for internal use and communicating with factories. Attended fittings and assisted Tech Designer with measuring, comments, updating sketches and callouts. Requested, tracked, received, unpacked, photographed, labeled, managed and recorded all incoming samples for SMS and photography. Reviewed samples for quality call outs in both development and production phases. Placed all purchase orders for CMT & FOB developments. Shipped samples, fabrics, trims, and labels out to all vendors while managing inventory for each vendor as well as for in house. Prepared requests for Lab Dips and Wash Tests and then checked, chased, approved, and filed. Built visual presentation Line Sheets for Merchandising and Planning. Created all care label copy for approved styles going into production and submitted approvals of final artwork to vendor. Maintained the sample room and displayed seasonal development samples in studio, making sure samples were organized and properly labeled.
