Data Migration Collection and Validation Lead for Global SAP Data Migration Project (Western Europe Region)Key Responsibilities: • Co-ordination of post-load data quality validation of 100+ master data objects by 35+ separate business entities• Tracking and reporting of entity data collection and validation progress after data load cycles • Delivery of defect tracking for post go-live “Hypercare” periodDuring this assignment at British American Tobacco, Jeremy provided management and co-ordination of the Western Europe data collection and post-load data validation for all of the main data load phases for their global SAP data migration project. This included the migration of over 100 commercial and operational data objects for 37 distinct entities. The role also involved engaging with a number of contacts from the wider business to alleviate concerns about data quality.• Jeremy provided twice daily reporting on validation progress for management along with issue remediation recommendations split by entity and data object. He worked closely with stakeholders across the entire Western Europe region to ensure that data quality was formally signed off by each business entity prior to exiting each data load phase and go-live in particular• He liaised with the data load co-ordinators and planners to ensure data validation was executed in a timely manner and did not introduce delays to the end-to-end data load plan• Finally, he was part of a small “Hypercare” team, where he was personally responsible for leading daily progress calls, providing daily management reporting and responding quickly to ad-hoc reporting requests to help manage emerging high priority defects

Data Quality Management Service (DQMS) for Global SAP Data Migration ProjectKey Responsibilities: • Delivery of a twice weekly reporting cycle comprising 4 distinct reports• Provision and upkeep of Data Quality Action Plan (DQAP)• Tracking and reporting of legacy data quality improvement progress through each data load cycle across various functions • Enhancement of the standard BAT data quality reports with complex rule reports using the Business Data Quality (BDQ) softwareDuring this assignment at British American Tobacco, Jeremy provided a DQMS in support of the Western Europe phase of their global SAP data migration project. This phase included the migration of almost 100 commercial and operational data objects for 37 distinct entities, with around 70% of the data being collected from scratch and recorded in over 4000 spreadsheets.• Jeremy provided twice weekly reporting on collection data with progress tracking for management and data remediation recommendations split by entity and data object. He worked closely with the data analysts to ensure that data quality was sufficient prior to each data load cycle• The provision and upkeep of Data Quality Action Plan (DQAP) required a weekly extract and consolidation of reports from numerous sources in order to provide a holistic view of data quality progress for management• Jeremy augmented the standard legacy data quality reporting capability with additional reports using the BDQ tool for reporting against complex business validation rules
