Corporate Sponsorship Development – Develop customized corporate sponsorship packages for special events.Prepare and negotiate sponsorship contracts. Monitor compliance to the terms and conditions in contractual agreements. Maintain and develop relationships with corporate clients through ongoing communications. Measure and report the value of sponsorship at the conclusion of the program. Event Management – Create strategic and logistical plans to successfully execute community events, including the annual Victorian Festival, Car Tunes Fall Festival, Hometown Holidays, Business Showcase, Golf Outing and Grub Crawl. Duties include organizing large groups of volunteers in planning phase and supervising them onsite during events. Specific tasks include selecting venues; planning event programs; overseeing promotional materials; managing invitation/RSVP process and negotiating contracts. Membership – Direct and successfully execute the membership solicitation and retention program for the Chamber including program development, marketing and direct contact work. Membership consists of over 400 businesses including retail, service and non-profit segments. Train volunteers to assist in membership solicitation and retention through an Ambassador program. Since 2001, achieved a 40 percent increase in growth. Consistently attain an 80 percent annual retention rate. Develop and supervise 40 exclusive member events, including large and small group networking meetings. Annual activities include State of Community luncheon, Annual Meeting and the Holiday Party. Host three small group networking events monthly. Coordinate membership communications and incentive programs including monthly newsletter, membership directory (on-line and direct mail) and partnerships with Detroit Regional Chamber.Community Liaison – Representative to Downtown Development Authority, Northville Central Business Association and community cultural organizations.

Secured new and strengthened existing individual and corporate gifts. Built relationships with donors and prospective donors for the Golden Circle – the recognition club for donors $1,000+. Maintained a portfolio of donors, developed donor materials, and coordinated salon events. Renewed existing and applied for new grant opportunities. Managed pharmaceutical relations for the National Chapter’s programs and services. Developed, managed and implemented comprehensive funding, public and community relations programs and events to support the Chapter’s mission. Provided leadership and support in the implementation and evaluation of campaign logistics and volunteer management. Maintained strong relationships with MS researchers enabling information flow to major donors and put MS researchers in direct contact with major donors as necessary.
