An experienced and skilled BBC presenter, producer, journalist and reporter, with a BA Hons Degree in Journalism. I thrive on bringing stories and ideas to life with maximum levels of creativity and imagination, by producing content that is truly memorable.At the BBC, I have presented and produced shows nationally (BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC World Service), regionally (BBC Yorkshire and Humberside) and locally (BBC Radio York).During my time presenting BBC Introducing, I have maintained my genuine enthusiasm and passion, when championing and discovering new music from North Yorkshire.I constantly ensure that I listen to every single piece of music submitted, giving it the time and recognition, that is expected from the artists and audience. Throughout the last nine years, I have helped musicians gain national exposure, sign major record contracts and appear at international music festivals. I have curated, produced and compered live concerts and events such as Leeds Festival, a 60’s concert accompanied by a 60 piece orchestra, a 12 hour busk-a-thon for Children in Need and a football tournament consisting of local bands for mental health charity, York Mind. Throughout my career working in radio, I have felt incredibly proud that I've been able to follow my dream career, which i have wanted since I was a young lad in short trousers. I still feel I have a lot more to achieve and many ladders still to climb to reach my intended career goal. I'm very optimistic of what the future holds in the medium of radio.I am always willing to learn and undertake further training, to develop my skills and to ensure the highest standard is achieved.
