• Manage the Business Services Hotline and database• Develop relationships and coordinate outreach efforts with city agencies, technical assistance providers, business associations and community development corporations• Develop and implement community and economic development initiatives and practices within the City of Philadelphia• Assist businesses with compliance on City regulations, licenses, and permits• Work with business in applying for city, state, and federal grant programs for small businesses• Assist in the effort on making the City of Philadelphia “business friendly” as a small business advocate

• Assist in outreach for the Office of Economic Opportunity, working towards the goal of greater economic inclusion for Minority Women and Disabled Owned Business Enterprises (M/W/DSBE’s)• Manage social media website, updating with department events, news, and business events • Construct seasonal newsletter highlighting accomplishments, current news, and events for the department• Assist employees with policy research, programs, press releases, and departmental initiatives• Work directly with Assistant Commerce Director, gaining knowledge in public service and the City of Philadelphia

• Coordinator of educational services to include college prep, GED, high school re-enrollment, tutoring services, and job training for Philadelphia youth under care of the City of Philadelphia Department of Human Services.• Evolved an under-utilized service into an efficient and effective service utilized by clients at the center• Coordinate college fairs to enable access to education
