Biomedical Engineer
Current1. Properly checks the medical equipment and policies according to Joint Commission International (JCI) standards.2. Prepares technical specifications for end–users for future purchase of machines.3. Evaluates machines that are being offered in tender committee for possible purchase of medical equipment. If it passes the JCI standard, FDA, HIS, HL7 and if it is compatible with Cerner connectivity.4. Reviews spare parts offered in Biomedical Engineering store and approving of items that are compatible with our medical equipments.5. Repair, calibration, periodic preventive maintenance (PPM), inspection of medical equipment as per manufacturer standards. 6. Attends of day to day breakdown/fault of medical equipment for proper function. 7. Installation of newly purchased medical equipment before handing over to end – user. 8. Demonstrate to the end–user the proper use of the machines. 9. Ensures that the medical equipment are safe to use. 10. Properly checks the medical equipment according to Joint Commission International (JCI) standards.
