I’m a Field Operations executive with P&L responsibility for $50M+ businesses and 125+ locations across North America. I’ve grown businesses organically, through acquisitions, and by opening dozens of new locations. I’ve done my share of turnarounds by focusing on the service delivery to customers, typically the root cause of underperforming locations. I am passionate about developing front line employees, unit managers, and regional managers to achieve results beyond what they thought were possible. As a Senior Division Director with Jenny Craig, I was responsible for improving locations that spanned from Maryland to Florida, from Minnesota to Texas, as far west as Washington, and the states in between. In 12 months, my team and I increased revenue-per-client visit by 52% from $84 to $130, overall revenues from $45M to $53M, and EBITDA by 19%. These results were delivered by improving our customer service, driving higher repeat purchases, and improving labor costs by 6.6% through improved customer visit forecasting and efficient employee scheduling. I am very adaptable and know the importance of adjusting priorities to address business challenges and opportunities. I managed the acquisition of 11 franchise locations that included integrating employees, phasing out legacy pricing, and establishing consistent service delivery. In 2018, I opened six new company-owned locations and led local marketing, merchandising, staffing, training, inventory, pricing, and grand opening events; as a result, we achieved breakeven in 18-24 months.At my core, I’ve always believed that leaders have an incredible responsibility to care for both their internal & external customers. When I say care, I mean REALLY care, about all the following: what’s important to them, understanding & providing them with what they need to be successful & feel empowered, and creating trusting connections. Over the span of my leadership within varied industries, I’ve always found that strong KPIs come naturally when this type of culture is in place. I choose to empower and inspire my leaders, knowing they will be better equipped to empower and inspire their direct reports, who will continue to do the same, all the way to the service of the external customer.
