My Responsibilities Include: • Review and study of complete tender documents, such as specification, drawings and bill of quantities.• Update the Estimation Manager with missing documents/ specifications/ drawings if any, and raising queries for the consultants or clients.• Set a time frame for quantity take off and make sure that the time frame is met.• Prepare and float enquiries and follow up for quotations from suppliers.• Review and compare the quotations as per tender requirements.• Prepare the estimation brief log using company provided software.• Generate the BOQ as per the client requirements.• Attend pre-tender and post tender meetings as advised by Estimation Manager.• Attend site visit for the tender as advised by Estimation Manager to check the site facilities (ease of access, stores, site offices…etc) and take it into consideration for pricing.• Review and advise the Estimation Manager for budget uplifts.• Committed to DSI HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative office.

Worked as an HVAC Engineer:Monitor, coordinate and supervise site activities and sub contractors on a day-to-day basis with the following responsibilities:• Installation, pre commissioning, commissioning and handing over of mechanical works within the designated time frame.• Study all technical drawings, documents and any revisions thereon.• Supervise the construction in terms of proper method, material reservation and optimum output of labor.• Give full and extensive instruction to the team.• Ensure that the construction issue drawings fully reflect the scope of works and requirements of the contract.• Ensure that the construction team are working to approved to the latest and approved construction issue drawings /or instruction of authorized authorities.• Monitoring of Subcontractor’s performance.• Ensure that any variations and instructions received from the client are incorporated into the latest construction issue drawings and Erected by the construction team.• Ensure that the quantity surveyor is aware of any such changes (reference above).• Pass all instructions issued by the authorized representatives to the manager to handle contractually prior to commencement.• Analyzing and resolving field problems.• Reporting to management.• Materials take off from contract drawings.• Materials requisition.

Worked as an HVAC Estimation Engineer:• Study mechanical drawings and specifications in order to understand scope of work.• Perform quantity taking off for the HVAC system. (Chilled Water Piping, Ventilation System, Dampers, Louvers, etc...).• Sending inquires to obtain suppliers quotations and negotiate them for the best price. • Prepare the total material cost for HVAC system in each project.• Estimate the required manpower and tools for the same.• Prepare the job analysis sheet (JAS) and fill the BOQ for tender submission.

Worked as an HVAC & Plumbing Site Engineer:Tower-In-Charge in "7 Residential Towers" project in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) with the following responsibilities:. • Reporting to the Project Engineer/ Project Manager on day-to-day activities and tasks.• Assisting mechanical drafters to prepare the shop drawings for HVAC & plumbing system by the guidance of Project Engineer and follow it for consultant’s approval. • Follow and evaluate the Project Manager Instruction to identify site installation changes. • Raise request for information (RFI) or confirmation of verbal instruction (CVI) against unclear specifications, drawings and site coordination.• Follow the executing of the project, manpower requirements and coordinate with electrical and fire fighting site engineers.• Ensure the systems are working properly, identifying defects of equipment if any and rectify it, on call for 24/7 for residents’ claims in the Defects Liability Period.
