The communication between generators and the server is managed by a data distribution service. Responsibilities.Requirement gathering.Lead the design and development of client web applications using the angular framework.Co-ordinate the client development using project management tools like JIRA.Perform code reviews and provide suggestions.

Project: PingPongClient: MedtronicDomain: Medical DevicesDescription: Project PingPong is the effort to convert the RFID tag supply chain from the use of NXP SLIX-s ICs to NXP ICODE DNA ICs. The major benefit is to incorporate mutual authentication between the generator and the tag. The project includes the update of the secure manufacturing program written in C++ running on Linux busy box and update of TagScan application written on C++ using Qt framework.Responsibilities.Understand the working of Secure Manufacturing Program and TagScan with SLIX-S RFID tagsLearn the specification of NXP's ICODE DNA tags and supported commandsModify the SMP and TagScan application to support ICODE DNA tags.Work along with the device team to understand the schema of the tag.Implement mutual authentication in SMP software for ICODE tags.

Project: FornaxClient : MedtronicDomain: Medical DevicesDescription:Fornax is a java application to communicate with electrosurgical generators. Fornax application is used to change the state of the generator, perform the firmware updates, and servicing of the electrosurgical generator.Responsibility:Development of the Fornax application using Netbeans IDE's RCP.Frequent interaction with Device teams on requirement gathering. Co-ordinate with the development of the application and working closely with the testing teamDesign secure communication methodologies over the existing communication protocol.Software configuration management and release management.

Project: VLEXClient: MedtronicDomain: Medical Devices.Description:Valley Lab Exchange project is the set of applications being developed by Wipro in partnership with Medtronic. These applications are mainly used to service surgical devices and to deploy system software for generators. Electro-surgical generators use different security protocols to communicate with the outside world. All applications are developed with medical device standards.Responsibility:Lead the design and development of external communication interfaces using different communication protocols (Data Distribution Service (DDS), EbD, MCP, http/https etc.) along with dot NET & Java architecture, design, and programming skills.Design secure communication methodologies over the existing communication protocol specifications to securely transfer data between the application and medical device (E.g.: Secure DDS)Design and develop web services considering performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements.Design and develop communication solutions and protocols to directly connect electrosurgical devices to mobile devices in the IOS platform.Generate deliverables under the quality and regulatory frameworks of IEC 62304, ISO14971, ISO13485, and Part 11 compliance using medical domain experienceLeading software failure Mode Effect Analysis (SFMEA) and risk management activities
