Manage production planning, supply and demand planning;Making sure all products manufactured are following the right standard and quality;Overlooking the development of the business in marketing, sales, supply chain and operations;Implemented a new ERP system to reduce overhead cost, ease of data access and visibility of data to enhance production planning, supply planning and demand planning;

• Work access business units to plan and prioritize purchasing activities in Packaging and Ingredients.• Review planned orders and manage approval process. • Transmit and prioritize approved purchase orders to the chosen supplier. • Track order acknowledgments, prepare and communicate shortage and back order reports. • Track orders and confirm delivery dates and costs. • Review, update, and maintain purchase orders until they are fully completed.• Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts. • Build strong relationships with suppliers, local and international ones. • Negotiate with different suppliers for price, quality, lead time and other factors. • Expedite and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. • Write and analyze requisitions, invoices, supply requests and supply orders. • Handling Microsoft Navision ERP system with Excellent Excel skills.Achievements• Reduced the prices of all items of a particular supplier by 11% by negotiating using competitive pricing strategy.• Reduced the cost of particular fast moving items by 3.68% by offering business on other slow moving products.

ERP Application used: Oracle – Prod ModuleSuppliers: ABB, 3M, CATU, BICC, Band IT, Barton and Legrand.Acting as a procurement in-charge and responsible for material sourcing for the complete UAE operations - Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.Generate forecast based on the sales history and analyzing the demand of each product.Creating purchase requisition and issue purchase order once the PR is approved in the Oracle ERP.Primary point of contact for all retail outlets for all supply chain related issues.Manage materials using ABC analysis by categorizing material movement.Coordinate with the shipper and clearing agent for clearance of the shipment and to ensure the material reaches our warehouse on time.Instrumental in rising claims for shortage, damage, price difference to principles and follow up for credit notes and payments.Responsible for allocating items, checking back orders and generating minimum order quantity report every day.Reduced the inventory level upto 70% by maintaining a lean supply chain by utilizing just-in-time methodology and gain economies of scale with bulk purchasing for the fast moving items.Acquired excellent analytical skills in Oracle ERP and MS Excel.Supervise, coach and delegate 2 interns on replenishment tasks.Created a grading file based on ABC analysis to be used for monthly replenishment to prioritize orders.Process ImprovementDeveloped a monthly supply chain performance report card based on year to date service level, ordered vs undelivered quantity comparison per brand/supplier.Developed an excel report to split single replenishment summary report to multiple reports per store to enhance downward supply chain visibility among retail store managers.Monitor monthly on shelf availability of all the top sellers and present to the general manager on a monthly basis the reason for non-fulfillment if any.

Procurement ActivitiesMake procurement plan every month by analysing the physical stock, monthly sales, order’s and consignment which are in pipeline. Based on the procurement plan purchase orders are made for every items.Coordinating with the sales team for purchasing products to minimize obsolete stocks and stock pileups.Negotiate with suppliers based on the market price and previous price of the suppliers.Prepare purchase requests, OPO and follow-up with suppliers for prompt delivery.Analyse and identify fast moving and slow moving items using the ERP to create economies of scale.Coordinate and follow up with shipping line.Keep records of materials received,issued and purchased using ERP. Based on the current sales, inventory levels, the orders which are in pipeline and the sales forecast for each product the demand is predicted and a procurement plan is made for every month. Based on the procurement plan the purchase order's are made.Enter goods receipt note, generate sales report, stock report, analyze ERP data based on the requirement of the managers.Logistics ActivitiesPrepare documentation for customs clearance and create FIRS and FITR for Dubai municipality clearance in the government website. Coordinate and follow up with shipping line till the container reaches store without any time or cost deviation.Fleet management.

My job role was to make sure that the right products are present at the right time in the showroom. Manage the purchase of raw materials based on the daily sales data.
