Integrated Production Management SystemThe project is a part of the Integrated Production Management System (IPMS) which covers the details from the time the order is received to completion of the vehicles through various manufacturing shops. Vehicles tracked by scanning barcodes. This system facilitates the Plant to achieve timely completion of customer orders and traceability, Work instructions to operator, Delivery trigger to suppliers for JIT materials, Declaration of vehicles in SAP by scanning 2D barcode and Control over rework bodies.1) The IPMS Project is implemented in Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Scorpio + UV).Project integration with SAP for sales Order, Colour details, BOM, Super BOM & vehicle declaration as well as integration with RFID tags is completed.2) Maintaining the complete IPMS Project and later conversion of the entire IPMS project in SAP.
