Throughout my career as a radio personality I preformed a live radio broadcast weekdays as well as running live broadcast from remote locations as needed. My job was to keep up with trends, current events, while staying connected with a specific demographic on multiple radio stations. As the afternoon Production Director I specialized in writing 30-60 second radio ads for clients along with producing said content for on air play. My job included but was not limited to interviewing clients, artists, and local citizens during broadcasting events. This role also consisted of soundboard operating, recording clients while also teaching them how to speak on air, imaging, voice tracking on multiple stations, live onsite broadcasts, the marketing of community events, customizing program information, attending trade shows, managing a daily workload while running a live show.

As an intern at Radio Mankato I attended many local community events. I was responsible for driving the company vehicle, set up and tear down of events and talking with the local community representing the company. Through hard work I was the only intern of 10 hired on to the staff and given my very own radio show. I was on-air late night broadcasting relevant content to the general public on Hot 967 in Mankato. Eventually after showing my natural speaking abilities on-air, I was recruited by a competing station for a full time position as a midday radio personality.
