  •Controls day to day operations, planning, initiatives, and execution of the PIV (Personal Identification Verification) program•Ensures compliance of all aspects of PIV processes, card issuance, privacy and audit requirements•Adjudicates process related issues, such as identity proofing, remote access, background investigation status associated with the authorization and issuance of the PIV card to current/new employees, contractors, affiliates and volunteers requiring access to VA controlled facilities and/or Information system•Keeps track of PIV, non-PIV, or flash passes.•Captures, maintains, and purges fingerprint information and forwards for special agency check processing if necessary. •Coordinates with Human Resources to ensure adjudication dates are readily available to the PIV office. •Ensures the principles of separation of duty are appropriately followed.•Assists the Chief of Police service in developing standards, procedures, policies and other regulatory requirements for PIV. •Responsible for administrative tasks related to the PIV program and utilizes various internal computer system to input and extract information relevant or essential to the overall operation of the program. •Develops, maintains, and submits thorough PIV related statistical reports as required. •Provides facility-wide education and support to appointed PIV staff, delegated tasks and assignments and ensures all appointed PIV staff complete annual training, maintaining training documentation and overseeing their work as necessary. •Coordinates vehicle registration and the issuance of parking decals. •Responsible for the tracking and ordering of supplies and ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
