I direct a variety of TV series, collaborating with the film subjects and the production team to ensure the best possible final product. My most notable projects have been: • Intervention Canada: Directed a documentary TV series that profiles people with drug and alcohol dependence and other compulsive behaviors and are facing a personal crisis, ending in an intervention by a friend or family member. Worked closely with the person with the addiction and their families as a field director, establishing a strong rapport. Created story points for the documentary and managed scheduling before travelling to the location. Followed the day-to-day life of each documentary subject, extracting strong story points to effectively translate their struggles into film. • Ice Road Truckers: Stepped in as director during season 11 of the reality TV series. Drew the best out of the team in the face of extreme weather conditions and long hours, accepting feedback from the team and opening discussions about how the team could work more effectively. Nominated for Best Director by Canadian Screen Award.

I write video scripts and craft content marketing initiatives to promote the videos post-creation. I also provide content proofreading services. My most notable projects have been: • Pigskin Pete Contest: Played an integral role in helping a client win a contest to be the new Pigskin Pete for the Tiger-Cats football team. Collaborated extensively with the client on content ideas, advising him on video structure and where to shoot and providing co-writing services for the video script. Advised client on the extent of edits and how to promote the video via social media once it was finalized. Drafted a content marketing strategy and advised during implementation. • Tax Accountant: Performed proofreading and editing services for a tax accountant. Provided constructive criticism regarding the technical language of the document, advising on ways to make it more accessible to the general public.

I produce videos for content marketing campaigns and for publications, effectively executing on managements’ visions of the content. My most notable projects have been: • Ryerson University: Led a video marketing initiative within the Aboriginal Student Services Department to highlight work being done throughout the year and to create archival content to be used at the department’s annual event. Collaborated with department heads to execute on the vision of The Office of the Vice President Equity & Community Inclusion to highlight work being done for the purpose of social media advertising. • TORO Magazine: Wrote content for, shot, and edited videos for a men’s lifestyle publication, effectively executing on management’s vision of the magazine. Collaborated with businesses to create content about food, drink, and technology. Created automotive review series that included written and video content with on-camera appearances.

I shoot television content under a wide array of conditions, consistently evoking emotional responses from the audience and meeting the expectations of the shows’ management. My most notable projects have been: • Big Brother Canada: Consistently delivered high-quality work that met or exceeded brand expectations on this highly rated reality game show. • Hello Goodbye: Shot a show set in Toronto Pearson International Airport where the host asks members of the public who they are saying goodbye to or welcoming home. Worked closely with the host to shoot in a busy public environment, consistently ensuring that the emotional visuals were captured perfectly.
