Being a graduate of BS Insrumentation and Control Engineering, even I asked myself once on how and why I landed in the marketing field. Then realised that it is becase I have always enjoyed making new connections and building a good relationship ever since I was little. The moment I got the chance to be in markerting field, i found it challenging yet fun! I get to connect with different people of different background and get to know their visions and perspectives, know their current problems and dilemmas and get the chance to show and offer them different solutions that will benefit them long term.I have been in the field for three years, gaining professional experience executing market research, analyzing consumer data, and monitoring global production. I have worked with clients located in the US, Africa, and Asian countries such as Japan, China, and Indonesia to name some, which helped me hone my skills in understanding what their needs are and how to address them efficiently and effectively. To add is the skill to properly communicate and understand the current trend to help make plans and timeline. I really enjoyed my time when I was involved in the product development as I got to learn and also contribute ideas to ensure that both clients and our business will grow. Getting in touch with the designers and making the clients visions be tangible is an amazing experience. It is not an easy task however because there are a lot of things that needs to be considered like cost, materials, ETAs of materials and more. Both parties must meet halfway and agree in sorting out these factors and as the middle man, I need to make the transition, communication and exchange of information smooth, precise and accurate.My professional and personal experiences have taught me the following about my self:I can effectively help make visions tangible.- I put the client/customer at the center of all that I do.- I excel at the execution of big ideas with given constraints and situations- I learned to trust my gut instinct in decision making, especially the time sensitive ones.I always push, educate and motivate my self to be a better person.- I try not to settle, thus I only go for the best solution- I stay calm in times of trouble and adversity- I only opt for decisions that will be efficient long term.Life is a big learning experience and I can't wait to learn and grow more, be the vest version of my self everyday!
