This is a shingle-making business. Initially each day I ran Quality Assurance tests(moisture, heat, scrub) on the asphalt and fiberglass in them; via blow torches and other mechanisms. The shingles are processed through a "Dry/Wet Looper Press" with various compartments and filters which I maintained using varying hand tools. Also used forklifts(propane/electric) to dispose of waste.

• I was part of the EMS (Emergency Maintenance Service) crew where we ensured that the entire factory's visual aids met OSHA qualifications.• I fabricated metal framings of Creaform and Angle iron for all kinds of specific needs throughout the plant. Examples such as: conveyers, tables, chairs, and display frames.• Using my common knowledge of power tools and MIG welders, I produced varying structures by cutting the metal with band saws, welding, and grinding it into construction.

• Here I started my shift by going through a maintenance checklist to make sure everything was operational with my electric pallet jack or reach truck that I operated.• Each dock had a trailer with a unique load, I was responsible for picking those loads with my RF Scanner.• Some merchandise was able to be reach from the ground, and certain items that were stored higher up in racks required me to operate my Lift (Crown Reach Truck) to pick.

• Here I was on the receiving side of the distribution center, bringing in merchandise using my RF Scanner.• I was responsible for doing some clerical work; like printing special labels for certain cases to be shipped properly.• Another duty of mine was to load, unload, and stage trailers/merchandise with an electric pallet jack or stand- up reach forklift (Crown).

• Here one of my responsibilities was to make steel road supports using a Brake Press machine. • Using a MIG Welder I also welded the steel road supports to connecting rods. • I also performed routine checks on the machinery to make sure that everything was functioning properly.

• I was responsible for putting together pumps that went inside refrigerators.• Making the cylinders that went inside the pumps was also a responsibility of mine.• After the pumps were assembled, I had to test them and haul them down to the proper painting area.
