Jermoni Dowd has over 18 years’ experience delivering high-quality marketing campaigns for local government. He is committed to public service, has strong communication skills and is an exceptional team player.Jermoni has served as Public Information Officer for the Prince George’s County Government, producing and managing outreach campaigns for County residents in need of health and human services. He has developed marketing strategies for reducing child care safety, designed branding for domestic violence education campaigns and has been instrumental in developing messaging during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to serving as Public Information Officer, Jermoni served as Marketing Coordinator for the Prince George’s County, Area Agency on Aging from July 2002 - July 2005. In this role, he managed the development of promotional materials and organized events for older adults and family caregivers. Jermoni also served as Shift Manager for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning, Wayne K. Curry, Sports & Learning Complex from June 2001 – March 2016. In this role, he was responsible for managing the logistics of over 100 annual events with a team of up to 30 event staff personnel. Jermoni is also a self employed photographer and branding consultant. His company, JK Dowd Media has produced content for NBC Universal Media, Prudential Financial and the NAACP. Mr. Dowd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Bryant College (now Bryant University).
