I graduated with honors from Carthage College with bachelor of arts degrees in business administration and marketing, and spent several years working in human resources and organizational development in the United States and Southeast Asia prior to returning to graduate school.I attended Pepperdine University, completing a master of business administration at the Graziadio School of Business and Management in 2011 and a juris doctor at the School of Law in 2012. While at Pepperdine, I was published by the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, Graziadio Business Review, and The Christian Lawyer. I served on staff for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law as a staff member from 2010-2011 and Lead Articles Editor from 2011-2012. I was also involved in International Justice Mission, Advocates for Public Interest Law, and Pepperdine’s London Program.
