3D Artist
I am currently the lead 3d Artist for the Fairytale Fights project. My role is making sure a very large amount of 3d models make their way into the game, both looking good and working well.I coordinate a team of 6 3d modellers, this means I have to evaluate their work, but also help and motivate.Much of my time is spent helping my team, organising statistics , helping colleagues of other disciplines, fixing technical issues and doing research for new tools, technologies and methods. I also handle outsourced 3d content. Last year I briefed, supported and reviewed over a thousand 3d models. The few 3d models that I do get to create myself either serve as a benchmark for others or are of high importance otherwise.
Intern
Owner
Whenever there's freelance work to be done I, and three of my best friends, do this under the flag of FuseMediaThe fascinations and specializations of the team vary quite a bit. One is into graphic design (websites, logo's), the other is more of a technical kind of guy (programming, interface design, setting up servers and hardware), then theres another who likes playing around with video and music (compositing, animation and stuff like that) and then there's me... the 3d graphics and concepting guy. We're all reasonably good at the stuff we do (although obviously we have much to learn) and we love being creative. Because of our huge differences in taste and preference we decided to make a company which isn't superawesome at one thing, but good with a bunch of stuff. So, we _fuse_ the varying disciplines of computer arts which we all love.Up until this now we have only done smalltime freelance jobs. It has just been to learn, experiment and maybe earn some extra pocket moneys.
Intern
I learned creating websites using HTML, CSS, PHP, Flash Actionscript and Javascript. After working here I realized this kind of work wasn't challenging enough and at the same time too technical for my taste. I needed something more graphically creative so I started 3d modeling.
Intern
Worked here as an Intern, we had to assemble industrial computers. After this I never had any problems building my own PC's. Regarding hardware, it was very educational.
