Engineering support for different customers in different projects. The whole range from idea and concept generation untill the last detailed engineering step taking into account e.g. assembly and the specific way of production like sheetmetal, milling, vacuumforming or injection moulding, just before ordering. 3D & 2D CAD, design reports, etc.

In coöperation with the Wassenburg team I work on the redesign of the complete framework of the newly to be developed machine WD (washer-disinfecter) 220, including the whole means of closing the basin (lidconstruction) where endoscopes are positioned during washing. Lifetests done on the closing mechanism to discover if en where wear takes place, and doing itterations after. Ongoing process :-)

Leusden

Design and engineering of a new horn for the new policecars (VW Transporter and Touran). Integration and suspension upfront behind the grille of the car, taking into account the small available space, close to vandalism-proof and aesthetically nice. Managed to increase the noiselevel to 115dB(A).Universal solution for both cars.

2013-2014: from scratch through conceptual phase realisation of a new 99% plastic squeezing mechanism for the BEVYZ Fresh domestic drinks machine, making it smaller, cheaper and more reliable in use, making sure the mechanism fits in the existing machine, while offering consumers a very intuitive way of operation. Parts that make contact with the capsule are easy to remove for dishwasher treatment.

Amersfoort

Engineering and design of a 2MW direct drive wind turbine.Specifically worked on the nacelle. A 10.000kg+ steel cast part, carrying the generator, hub and blades in all weather conditions. Specific attention to access of servicepersonnel including housing aids like a hoist and emergency exit. Placing of the 6 motors to do the yaw. Also way of assembly of the piece onto the tower (bearing), and fixation of the generator on opposite side. Finally cableducting and piping for cooling the generator.

Implementation of Solidworks 3D CAD into the organisation. Basically as an aid for my own job. Connected with the ERP system.Design and manufacturing of Hendi assortment. Digitalised in 3D and 2D.

Manufacturer (bankrupt unfortunately) of subassemblies in trailer industry. Used lasercutting Amada machines, brake presses. Welding facility.

Breda

Product design and project management. Different types of office furniture including a new concept of an electrically heigth-adjustable table from 62-122cm.
