In an independent capacity I am supervising academic projects in the field of spatial planning. And write academic reflections on planning practice.Examples of supervision and sounding board roles for projects:- PhD project on role of regional government in regional planning at Delft University of Technology- MSc graduation project on spatial conditions.

Between June 2010 and December 2011 I finalised my PhD thesis. In addition I was authoring and reviewing scientific articles in this guest position at the Faculty of Architecture, department Urbanism at Delft University of Technology.

In my PhD research I explored possible avenues for improving the embedding of knowledge on temporospatial activity and mobility behaviour of people in urban design and planning. The aim of the Thesis was to expand on design and planning theory. The Thesis comprises the analysis of two approaches: (1) the use of tracking technologies such as GPS in an urban.
