As Global Energy, Utility & Resources leader in PwC I am fully dedicated to this fascinating industry, our clients and broader stakeholders. I advise companies, regulators, policy makers and local governments on the ongoing Energy Transition. This brings many challenges around a.o. changing business models, required regulatory changes and customer interaction. I take honour in leading PwC’s global network of highly qualified and dedicated specialists for our industry. With 25 years of experience I have served as audit partner on Utilities, Grid and Global Upstream companies, including most major players. These include both local and internationally listed companies. In addition I coordinated various sector mergers and acquisitions, carve outs and large scale cross competence projects.On a personal level, the complex nature of the challenges facing the industry on all levels makes every day I work with it a pleasure. Being passionate to contributing to the ongoing Energy Transition I am very proud to chair the Dutch chapter of the World Energy Council and being a member of the board of CIEP Clingendael.
