Jerry founded EverYoung Natural Foods (EYNF) shortly after his wife died of cancer in 2005. As an act of devotion to her, and armed with masters degrees from both RIT and The University of Rochester, he began his search among the 30,000 known varieties of algae in the world, for a dietary combination that could impact peoples’ lives in a healthy, positive way. The results of Jerry’s research: a unique blend of Organic Blue-Green Algae and Carotenoids – known to consumers as a product called Diet Enhance.Fast forward to present day, 2011, and Jerry is again hard at work discovering user-friendly ways for consumers to get the benefits of Spirulina in their daily diet. The answer to Jerry’s quest? Teaming up with a local artisan baker (Charlene Venette of Everyday Gourmet) to create a simply brilliant concept: cookies with a purpose… cookies packed with nutrition!Specialties: In 2010 Jerry supported a study on the potency of algae specie in the suppression of various lines of cancer at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
