Jerom is an interdisciplinary creative whose roots come from theater, film, and community development. He studied at the Philippine High School for the Arts as a theater arts scholar, and graduated with latin honors under the BS Community Development program at the University of the Philippines Diliman.As an actor, writer, director, and producer, Jerom has been part of several theater productions and films. He is the co-founder of the independent multimedia collective Kayumanggi Kolektib. Aside from his creative endeavors, he also served as the Vice Curator of Global Shapers Manila Hub in 2022-2023. He is also the current Volunteer and Programs Director of Play It Forward.Jerom is passionate in telling stories and developing communities through creative means that are care-based, collaborative, innovative, empowering, and radical.
