KidsDuo is an after-school/pre-school care center in Japan where kids aged 2.5 - 12 come to learn and play in English with a native English speaking teacher. Teachers are responsible for lesson planning, executing lessons, and providing a fun environment to encourage kids to learn and use English as a tool for communicating.

Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) serve as assistants in classes taught by Japanese teachers of English and help prepare teaching materials and other activities for class. ALTs also serve as an international ambassador for their home country, promoting the globalization of society. During my time as an ALT, I taught middle school aged students (ages 13-16).
