CurrentCarrying out the normal duties and functions, which occur within a professional Laboratory Service. These duties and functions include, interalia: -Record temperature logs onto temperature log books.Report to manager with any problems with clientsCollecting of blood specimen and delivery reports in an appropriate timeEnsuring that blood samples are transported timeously and safelyCall on doctors as per roster or instruction from the manager/ supervisorComply with minimum standards of efficiency and accuracy, in order to meet company standardsFollow delivery/pickup instructions from managerEnsure that all collections/store returns / inter-branches are correctly checked, signed for and returned to the receiving areaComply with the company vehicle policy at all timesComplete and maintain an accurate bike logbookEnsure that the vehicle is never unattended during the delivery processEnsure the vehicle is clean and washedInspect the bike for any defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips; and report any concerns to the managerReport on all accidents and incidents involving drivers or company equipmentAdhere to the road traffic rules and regulations as per the National Road Traffic ActBe responsible for any traffic fines allocated to the bike you driveCreate effective and efficient relationships with internal and external customers to improve operating efficienciesEstablish long-term customer relationship through prompt and courteous service.Ensure professional behavior when dealing with customers.
