The purpose of my internship was to realize a benchmark of performance to compare an historian database PI Osysoft and MySql. The comparison was based on the time of retrieving and inserting uge amount of data in the database. Some queries were simple (no table junction) and others were complex (many table junction). My project was to create a script to automate the installation and configuration of Windows Server 2003 or 2008. This was to minimize human intervention.The facility was to use a file containing all the data usually entered by hand.Configuration is done with a Powershell script to install and configure the various services (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, ...) as well as create groups and users and their respective folders.
